  • Gayla has her teaching certificate and is working at a substitute teacher in Denver Public Schools
  • Andy is finishing his Ph.D. dissertation and is employed at Denver Urban Ministries (DenUM), a faith based human services agency providing emergency assistance, job services, urban education, and advocacy

Bowman the wonder dog and Pearl the 20 year old empress cat like their new place just fine. Pearl mostly sleeps, and Bowman goes on 4 walks every day with Gayla and/or Andy.
